I wonder how many times he's cut his fingers off with that shield by mistake?

Eh, there should be a healer walkin' around, anyway. Sure, they ask for half your wallet for a heal, but hey... can't lose them fingers.

'Course not. He must be very attached to that shield to not just get rid of it.

Shields are useful. Specially bladed ones. Shield bashes are damn priceless. :P

You know what I'd do in that world? I'd make a shield with the blades pointing PERPENDICULAR to the shield! OUTWARDS! I'd make millions!

I've yet to see how this design would cut his fingers, though. At most the blade would grasp the wrist portion of his arm guard.

And perpendicular spikes are fun... until you get it stuck and someone chops your head off while you're trying to pull it outta whatever it got stuck on. :P

Fontes, never underestimate the things that people can do while they're drunk or dizzy or tired or just not paying attention. I should know.

I had that same problem with my spear. I'm currently typing this with my canines. :'(

Try to use your nose, it should be more precise.
