Boycott Crapcom Stamp by FontesMakua Boycott Crapcom Stamp by FontesMakua
Let's face it: Capcom has done a fuckload of crap, lately. Not only they're raping the Megaman fanbase, they're also not giving a crap about Darkstalkers, or any others. Today, Capcom can be summed up into these two franchises alone:

- Street Fighter
- Resident Evil

And EVEN on those they're fucking it up! Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition is completely broken, with the adition of Jun and Yang, who ate completely OP (like a friend of mine said, if that game had a Tier 0, those two would be Tier -1).

And don't get me started on the dumb, DUMB, FUCKING DUMB idea of not allowing us to delete the ONLY save file available for Resident Evil Mercenaries!

That, along with how they've been treating Megaman, a franchise with one of the biggest fanbases ever:

- Megaman Universe: Cancelled
- Megaman Legends 3: Cancelled
- Megaman in MvC3: Forget it
- Rockman Online out of Korea: ... Don't bet on it.

And you know what was the last straw, for me?

[Take a look at this.]

Megaman X was the second most voted Capcom character to be included in Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3...

AND THEY DIDN'T PUT HIM IN!!!

Just... fuck you, Capcom. Fuck. You.

I had to do something like this because I share your pain.

Everything about this is awesome because this stamp represents everything that CAPCOM has done over the past year. Trust me, I know.

The Vision is short and sweet to the point. A stamp basically saying that we've had enough of CAPCOM's bad decisions. Excellent.

The originality has no need for words. THIS. IS. IT. I want nothing to do with you CAPCOM so screw you and your rehashed games.

The technique is pretty simple and I like it. I like it a lot.

The impact is VERY huge. How do I know this? Because it's very true. Hey, everyone is talking about it and everyone is expressing their opinion. This is the result.

All in all, an excellent stamp and one I will enjoy having on my Stamp Collection. Perfect 5 out of 5.

I'm unhappy that Capcom has turned into a monster. I mean, they closed out the PS2 era on a high note with Okami and started the seventh generation so great (and promisingly) with the first Dead Rising game, and kept that momentum up so well with the releases of the first Lost Planet game, Zack and Wiki, Umbrella Chronicles, and Devil May Cry 4! Not to mention Mega Man 9 and 10. Also, Bionic Commando: ReARMED. But then they started slapping On-Disc DLC in Resident Evil 5. I think it was when they started screwing over customers with the practice. They even rebooted Devil May Cry for no reason! And they keep releasing so many versions of Street Fighter 4 and cramming On-Disc DLC into that, and they ruined Resident Evil with the 6th game. But you're right. The biggest sin Capcom has created in recent times has been neglecting their official mascot, Mega Man. I mean, Mega Man is what they put the company on the map for many! And now they don't want him anymore?! That's just painful. And very sad.

I think 2008 was the last year in the seventh generation that Capcom was still good. I think it began washing its hands of its former self with Resident Evil 5 in 2009. Now, it's just following the same model that Activision and EA are doing. At least Nintendo is still giving us quality games and all, and there are indie developers, too. Thanks for reading this comment and making this stamp for many who wish to boycott the company.

Cancelling Megaman, making needless and constant rehashes of titles like Street Fighter, on-disc DLC, neglecting their other franchises like Darkstalkers for example. Yeah Crapcom continues to screw us over each and every time. Oh well, at least we still got the Ace Attorney series so hopefully they won't screw that up too.

All your points seem to dodge the main issue: Capcom taking incompetent decisions.

If you still like Capcom despite their recent policies, it's up to you. But their sales have been going down considerably as of late. I wonder why...

You, my friend, earn instant and eternal gratitude for this stamp.

I mean, Megaman was the essential driving force for me to get into art! And for the very parent company to do THIS to him...I tell you, if I had one time alone with that insufferable bastitch, Ryota Niitsuma, and one giant, rusty monkeywrench...RRGH! :iconraegplz:

Anyways, if we Blue Bomber fans keep things up, Capcom will indefinately cave into our demands, because we the fans and customers of the company alone MADE the company, and we can sure as well rip them to SHREDS if the necessity is met.

Hey, I really gotta get this off my chest, but I think you're just saying that Street Fighter and Resident Evil are being "Fucked up" just because your upset over megaman not being paid any attention to.

Also, one save file is a bad thing? There are many games that don't use more than save file. Also, isnt Mercinaries supposed to be linear and straight forward?

And one more thing, I said that capcom might be like "terrorists" for not paying any attention to megaman (as a joke to make fun of everyone who is calling capcom evil), and you replied with "maybe"...... sooo what you're saying is that those Megaman games being canceled, is like those 2 towers on that special day falling...?

...well if it is, then my quest is finally over...

:iconfontesmakua:

The problem with Mercenaries isn't having one save... it's the fact that you can't erase it. EVER.

About the "terrorist" thing... well, there are different kinds of terrorrism, and on different scales. It's not the same as 9/11, that's certain. Then again, a terrorist is someone that, as the name implies, tryes to cause terror. Capcom's not doing that. They're not trying to scare anyone, they're just being idiots.

And about that "Quest" thing, I'm actually on a "Quest" to see if there is anyone out there that thinks this whole ordeal with Capcom and them not paying attention to Megaman is more of a tragedy than anything to happen in mankind and has LITTERALLY MADE THEM CRY IN REAL LIFE. I know it may be hard to believe but if something stupid exists, then something even more stupider exists as well.

Hell, let's take a look at Capcom's whole track record since 2010. Get ready, this is a long list...

Capcom
- Reported a 37% drop in sales in 2011, yet claimed a 58% increase in profits
- Mobile and online gaming contributed more to sales that year than home console gaming
- Overall lack of major releases in 2010 and 2011
- No plans for any future Monster Hunter titles on PlayStation hardware
- Looking for someone to make pachinko games based on Capcom intellectual properties
- Supported SOPA

Marvel vs Capcom 3
- DLC announced over half a year before the game's release
- No Mega Man
- Strider Hiryu "does not fit in"
- Nemesis "too gory"
- Jin Saotome considered, dropped because the animators couldn't be bothered to construct and animate Blodia
- Demitri Maximoff considered, dropped because they couldn't be bothered to make Midnight Bliss character models
- Captain Commando considered, dropped in favour of pushing Crimson Viper in a last-ditch effort to force everyone to like her
- Frank West teased, ultimately removed from promotional material and not used in the game, found completed and locked away in the game's coding with Dr. Octopus
- On-disc DLC
- Characters have the mirror effect 2D sprites used to have, despite Street Fighter 4 not having this issue and the sprite-based Street Fighter 3 games showing off over a decade ago that this didn't need to be done anymore

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
- Announced only five months after the original's release
- Strider suddenly "fits in fine"
- Nemesis suddenly no longer "too gory"
- Hyped up new modes are just Spectator Mode and Heroes and Heralds Mode
- Jon Talbain mentioned around the time of the original's release as Ryota Niitsuma's pick for a 4th Darkstalkers representative, said by Niitsuma to be the first new character added if he ever gets the chance, never makes it in even as a card in Heroes and Heralds
- Mega Man still not in, Capcom claims he wasn't requested enough, despite X being the second most requested character after Strider, with Classic and .EXE being in the top 10 as well
- Days of Future Past stage revealed, complete with Apprehended/Slain poster featuring almost every remaining character from MvC2, with Mega Man the only character not marked
- Alternate Mega Man Legends stage revealed
- Zero has a win quote blatantly reminding the player "X isn't here"
- Nova's ending has cameo appearances by every incarnation of Mega Man
- DLC costume packs include Mega Man X costume for Zero and Jon Talbain skin for Amaterasu
- Originally planned as DLC, Capcom uses the Tohoku disaster as an excuse to turn it into a rerelease
- Niitsuma wanted a 2012 release date, higher-ups pushed him to release it in time for the Christmas rush, thus keeping him from adding 20 characters as he had planned
- Christian Svenson openly insults fans who complain about the lack of playable Mega Man, saying they should be happy he's even acknowledged at all and calling them spineless, unpleasable children
- Characters still have the mirror effect

Street Fighter
- Capcom believes failure of Legend of Chun-Li to be solely due to poor advertising and distribution, ignores immense fan hatred and critical panning, announces plans to make another movie exactly like it

Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition
- Still no sign of popular frequently-requested characters like Rainbow Mika, Elena, Q, Alex or Rolento
- Stand-alone only, no upgrade option for SSF4 owners
- Uses Games for Windows Live DRM
- Six new characters promised, reduced to four after the reveal of Yun and Yang, remaining two turn out to be Evil Ryu and Oni Akuma

Street Fighter x Tekken
- DAN IS KILLED OFF
- Poison added seemingly just to respark the gender controversy
- Characters have win quotes to Poison that are extremely insulting and disrespectful towards transexuals
- Ono claims to be working with a famous LGBT rights group to come up with dialogue to Poison that won't insult anyone, no sign yet of this being true
- Soul Calibur-esque cameos
- American box art Mega Man is revealed as a fighter and given Volnutt's profile description

Darkstalkers
- Still no plans for so much as an HD remix of a past release
- Yoshinori Ono pitches ideas for a new game at every weekly staff meeting, gets shot down every single time, best reason execs can give to date is "It's not Street Fighter"
- Christian Svenson says a new Darkstalkers game won't even be considered for at least another five years
- Only the three most recognizable and sexually appealing Darkstalkers chosen for MvC3, all three are horribly underpowered compared to their performances in past games, no other characters added in Ultimate beyond cameos in character endings, Heroes and Heralds cards and palette swaps
- Capcom says in a very business sort of way that if Street Fighter x Tekken doesn't become a worldwide mega-hit, Darkstalkers never sees the light of day again and will be forced into obscurity
- Ono asks an entire convention hall full of fans who wants to see a new Darkstalkers game, everyone present raises their hand, Capcom higher-ups still refuse to allow a new game to be made
- Ono displays the optimistic and increasingly infamous message "Darkstalkers Are Not Dead"
- Not an actual game announcement
- Fan reaction to "Darkstalkers Are Not Dead" used by Ono to pitch Darkstalkers sequel yet again to Capcom's president, who refuses anyway, despite the wild applause from everyone present

Mega Man Universe

- Capcom later blames the Tohoku disaster

Mega Man Legends 3
- Announced as being in development, only to be stated as never having been greenlit

- Entire game is free in RE5, $40 on its own for the 3DS

Resident Evil 6
- RE5 + Gears of War + Michael Bay explosions

DMC
